Important Archdiocese of Baltimore Chapter 11 Reorganization Process Information:
The Archdiocese of Baltimore filed for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code on September 29, 2023 in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland. The court has recently entered an order approving, among other things, the form and manner of notice with respect to giving notice of the court-approved claims process, for, among other things, the submission of claims by victim-survivors of abuse. In connection with the notice process, and in accordance with the bankruptcy’s court order, the parishes and schools of the Archdiocese are posting a one-click link to the claims forms: http://www.archbalt.org/filing-a-sexual-abuse-claim/
